Dr. Jarred E. Marshak is a Gastroenterologist who specializes in digestive diseases. He received his undergraduate degree at Binghamton University and then went on to earn his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Phi honor society. After medical school, he went on to complete his Internal Medicine training at NYU Winthrop Hospital where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. He then stayed at NYU Winthrop Hospital for his fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. During his fellowship, he spent time at NYU Langone Medical Center to receive additional training in liver disease and transplant hepatology.

Dr. Marshak is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Marshak has been published in various peer reviewed medical journals. In addition, he has given presentations and received awards at several local and national scientific meetings in the field of gastroenterology. His affiliations include Mount Sinai Hospital, NYU Winthrop Hospital, South Nassau Communities Hospital, and Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Marshak lives on Long Island and is married with one child.
